First, explosions were reported near the Israeli embassy in Stockholm. This was followed by Copenhagen. There have been no reports of similar attacks in any other Western European capital. Is there something about Scandinavia that makes it more likely that something will happen here?</p

In Stockholm, shots were reported on Tuesday evening:

Patrols have been at the embassy in Östermalm in Stockholm since 6pm. According to information to Expressen, a shooting has occurred. The newspaper also writes that shell casings have been found.

“We’re there doing investigative work and checking information,” says Nadya Norton.

No-one has been injured and no-one has been arrested, according to police.

Police told TT that a bang was heard in the area and just before midnight, police confirmed on their website that they had found evidence suggesting the embassy had been hit by gunfire.

In Jaffa, two men got off the light railway and began shooting random passers-by. They managed to kill six and wound 17, one of whom died later in hospital.

It is natural to assume that the two men carried out the terror on behalf of Iran.

The question is whether the same was true in Stockholm and Copenhagen.
