Large stadiums are often used as rescue centres during natural disasters in the US. In St. Petersburg on the west coast of Florida, rescue workers had set up shop on the home field of the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team, but during the night the stadium’s entire roof was blown off by Hurricane Milton.
