Mark Zuckerberg has announced that Meta will remove independent fact checkers and cut back on moderation.

This is especially true around issues of immigration, gender and gender identity. The goal is more freedom of expression, writes Klassekampen, who puts the question to Culture Minister Lubna Jaffery:

– You are the minister responsible for freedom of expression. What do you think about the signals?

Jaffery is not favourably disposed to Zuckerberg’s move, using every possible word except to argue for freedom of speech.

– I think this is very serious,” says Jaffery.

– The result will be that disinformation and fake news will be allowed to spread even further. Facilitating the spread of fake news, disinformation and incitement has nothing to do with promoting free speech. It does the opposite.

The headline states that Jaffery promises to fight Facebook on “climate of expression”. This is yet another buzzword, just like liability, incitement and disinformation.

Who really is the biggest producer of disinformation? Considering commuter housing, plagiarism, theft, and all the lies that have been revealed in connection with the pandemic, there is little doubt: It’s the public authorities that are lying the most, and about the most serious issues.

For a long time, it was disinformation to claim that COVID-19 originated in a laboratory in Wuhan. Now most experts agree with what other experts have been saying since early 2020.

Claiming that the mRNA vaccine did not prevent infection? Disinformation! they said.

It is incitement if you comment on and criticise a statement from a politician, at least if the politician belongs to a protected group (Muslim, LGBTQ, woman, dark skin etc.)

They even allow themselves to call ordinary conservative working people Nazis and fascists all the time, and noone scream incitement then.

Then there’s the blatant Jew-hatred that is now politically accepted, and the ridiculous accusations of genocide, even though the population of Gaza has actually increased since 7 October 2023.

Media all over the world, as well as the US security services, knowingly lied about Russia Collusion. Norwegian media still report that five people died in the storming of the Capitol on 6th of January 2021.

Government media and authorities lie so much that they are unable to recognise a truth.

Facebook says it will roll out its plans in the US first, but is open to continuing this in Europe. Brussels and Jaffery clearly say no.

– I’m going to fight very hard if they try to introduce these changes here,” says Jaffery, who believes Norway must stand together with other countries in Europe.

– Fortunately, Europe has come much further than the US in regulating social media. The most important tool at the moment is the EU’s Digital Services Regulation (DSA), which has clear requirements to prevent the spread of disinformation on social media.

Jaffery hails the Digital Service Act (DSA), as most people that appreciate freedom of expressiomn calls the most blatant attack on free speech in Western democracies since World War II.

A conversation between the world’s richest man and one of Germany’s most popular politicians led the EU mafia to hire as many as 150 experts to monitor the conversation to look for offending statements, opinions or algorithms.

It’s hard to say which is worse: Jaffery flashing her boobs in celebration of Pride, or her frontal assault on Meta, showing that, like most politicians in the EU zone, she has no understanding of what free speech actually means.

So this is the minister who has freedom of expression as her area of responsibility, but who doesn’t understand what the term means.

During Støre’s just over three years as prime minister, we have experienced a minister of education without knowledge, a minister of finance who can’t do maths and a couple of foreign ministers with no diplomatic skills at all.

In addition, we have been rewarded with an oil and energy minister who didn’t understand anything, followed by an energy minister (because oil is not woke anymore!) who thought he understood everything.

The whole madhouse is led by the fog prince Jonas Gahr Støre, and now I was “kind” to a number of other ministers who deserve criticism.

The same minister used her opportunity to flash her boobs in tribute to Pride Week (month, year) last spring.

Norwegian politicians are not Norweagians, and they do not care about us normal people, tax payers, hard working non criminals who pays for everything and get nothing in return.

Norweagians support Israel, except our politicians, all the muslim and of course everyone who belongs to the left. Norway sends more money to the Hamas terrorists by capita than any country in the world.

Flashing boobs is admittedly tasteless and extremely inappropriate for a minister. But another attack on freedom of speech is worse: It’s a threat to what little remnant of democracy we still have, which you need a microscope to catch a glimpse of.
